Ragnar Blackmane 2.0

     Alright so a couple weeks ago I was thinking about how crappy and static the Ragnar Blackmane model looks. For those of you who don't know Ragnar Blackmane is known as The Allslayer and is renowned for his insane charges and ferocity, as such a static model like this:

      I don't know about you, but I think this doesn't look anything like a bloodthirsty warrior king about to make a decimating charge. So I decided to get a buddy of mine to convert up a more righteous version of Ragnar because I feel my skills in this area aren't up to par, and I use him a lot in game. So here are a few WIP pictures Danny sent me of Ragnar a few days ago for your viewing pleasure:

       Now I know Ragnar is supposed to be wielding his frost blade, but I am an ass man... and an axe man so when I was talking to Danny about it going through bits and talking about the kind of design I wanted him to do I got him to use the Space Wolf Terminator frost axe because it is just too brutal. All in I am pretty stoked to have him on the table and reaping a great tally, so far my record is  21 attacks on the charge! Ill update again soon, tanks are about to be painted and I'm brainstorming up ideas for my Wolf Priest and Rune Priest.

      So this is just a list Ive been messing around with of late because I was tired of people complaining about the Ragnar Juggernaut. Its pretty much a Trident, the Rune Priest/Swiftclaws on one side, the Wolf Priest/Swiftclaws on the other and the sledgehammer going straight down the middle. The Razorbacks follow the turbo-boosted bikes. They will hopefully be ignored, due to the more immediate threat of the bikers.

Thoughts Mr. Smith?

Side note-- I'm not sure what else to blog about on this thing other than lists. Maybe I should make Bat reps?

    Alright so basically Ragnar, Wolf Priest, Frost Blade Wolf Guard, and the Blood Claws ride in the LRC. Rune Priest rides in the rhino with the large GH pack. The rhino hides behind the LRC with Vinnys on the sides and Razorback wherever its advantageous to block LOS to Vnny side armor etc. Storm Caller is cast and gives em all 5+ obscured. Its a shell cracker egg cooker list. As far as the extra 150 points to hit 2k Im thinking about doing this (changes in red)---

Yes, I have decided to jump on the love boat with you Mofo's. I'm most likely going to use this to display all of the progress on my hobby shops business plan and the like. See what you lads think, get your input suggestions, possible improvements etc. I feel that you are all Vikings at heart, so you will give sound advice. And because I'm not sure I want any foolish Roman advice. I mean, they fight like this!
